Added Precautions

Increased Safety in our Office

Infection control has always been a top priority in our office. We follow the recommendations and guidelines made by the American Dental Association (ADA) and The Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).  This allows us to make sure that our infection control procedures are up-to-date and enables us to provide the safest environment for our patients and staff.

The following additional measures have been added to our already thorough infection control protocol:

+Levoit Core 300 True HEPA Filtered Air Purifiers to maximize healthy air quality

+Drs. Tavelin, Klein, Mindlin and staff will be wearing the recommended PPE including N95 and KN95 masks, surgical masks, face shields, head coverings, and surgical gowns.

+Disinfection agents like cavicide, and hypochlorous acid cold fogging will be practiced between each appointment. Cold fogging is effectively being used by hospitals, airlines and cruise lines to disinfect all surfaces and ambient air.

+All patients and staff will be screened by questionnaire the day prior to their appointment and again the day of their appointment with a touchless infrared thermometer.

+Social distancing of at least 6 feet will be observed by a maximum of 3 occupants in our waiting area. We ask our patients to arrive unaccompanied (unless a child with parent or elderly person with aide) and to be wearing a mask (don’t worry, we have extra if needed).

We thank you for your efforts as we continue to persevere during this difficult time together. We’ll see you soon!
